The winning works of the Contest VI International of Digital Animation, celebrated in the Forum IX Annual Society of the Information 2009 were:
The winner was the valencian director Sam Ortí, for his work "The Werepig", which obtained the first prize of the International Contest of Digital Animation.
The second prize relapsed into the galician Jorge Morais, for 'The heavens Painter'.
And the third prize were for the authors Rafael Cano, Carlos Olmo and Michael A. Bellod, all of them authors of 'Tachaaan!'.
It is necessary to emphasize that Sam Ortí is one of the more interesting entertainers of stop sign - motion of our country. He stamps on his shorts a particular stamp and a sense of the humor that has conquered critique and public. "The Werepig" is shortly more ambitious than has produced in Spain and it was subsidized by the Axencia Audiovisual Galega.
Sam, after beginning professionally together with Paul Llorens and taking part in Juan Paul Etcheverry and Aardman's projects, his personality arises when creates producer "Troubled Production", together with Jose Atienza, in Valencia, where he realized several shorts ("Encarna" 2003, "Hermetic" 2004, "Semantics" 2005, "The assault of the killer Kriters" 2007, and "The Werepig" (2008)) with that he has earned multitude of prizes.
A juror composed by professionals of great prestige worldwide has been the manager of rewarding to these magnificent shorts.
