Opened the summons for the Contest VII International of Digital Animation in 3D

    With the arrival of the X anniversary of the Information Society Annual Forum, more known as SICARM 2010, Integra Foundation summons the VII edition of the International Contest of 3D Digital Animation in order to promote the use of the New Technologies applied to the creation of digital contents and to discover new talents of the animation, which will be able to be rewarded with up to 9.000 Euros.

    The 'VII International Contest of 3D Digital Animation' presents an agreeable innovation for those competitors of the Region of Murcia, which want to be rewarded by a special prize for the best regional work by an endowment of 2.500 Euros and a trophy.

    Otherwise, the rules of the contest have changed the reduction of the maximum time of the animation, passing this one from 60 to 30 minutes lenght.

    The contest has an economic total endowment of 19.000 Euros to be rewarded of the following way: 9.000 Euros for the first prize, 5.000 Euros for the best second work, 2.500 Euros for the third work and other 2.500 Euros for the special prize of the Region of Murcia.

    The submission deadline for the contest will be on March, 31th 2010, at 14.00 hours.

    We remember that the previous year the winners were Sam Ortí, first prize for his work 'The Werepig'; Jorge Morais, second prize for his animation 'The heavens Painter'; and finally, third prize to Rafael Cano, Carlos Olmo and Michael A. Bellod, all of them authors of 'Tachaaan!'.
